This Twin Cities consulting firm needed help forming the foundation of their data-driven process. Evantage’s client, a large healthcare organization, needed to better understand the drivers of usage in one of their western-state markets. Patient visits and revenues had declined, and the healthcare organization needed to diagnose the cause before they could create a solution. Absent data to drive their strategy, the healthcare organization was faced with the possibility of exiting the market.
We conducted quantitative phone interviews with the healthcare organization’s target consumers. Analysis of the data showed that while awareness of the company was high, understanding of the services they provided was low. Additionally, consumers that did have a deep understanding of the organization’s products and services were extremely loyal and high volume users.
